Levice Calvary

Famous from the times of Turkish wars, later noble vineyards and at the beginning of the 18th century by  built stations of the Cross. It was formed by the Chapel of St. Cross which was extended to a church. It became popular for an opportunity of walks in the country. Due to WW2 that brought disaster and later poverty, that sealed doom of the destroyed church. In 2007 Patrimonium Servandi NGO was founded that has been building a new recreation area for general public for several years, and  thereby protecting our legacy for next generations.
